Mariah Carey - Ribbon

Pink: Another great track written and produced by The-Dream/Tricky. This one comes from Mariah's forthcoming album Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel which is her eleventh studio album. As we already know from Touch my Body and Obsessed these two are a really exciting team

Blue: I dunno bout this one, it really doesnt go anywhere. I like The Dream tracks but I cant get into this track.

Elkland - Apart

Blue: In 2005 a little band called Elkland released this song "Apart" it didnt get the buzz I thought it deserved. Reminded me of Erasure for some reason. Very Synth Heavy. I had to scour the internet to bring you this lost gem. Hope you like it.

Pink: Fun song. Good find. Singer sounds like Robert Smith

Klashnekoff - The Revolution (Will Not Be Televised On Channel U)

BONUS: Terrorise The City

Pink: This track (and album) is almost a rarity. It's British rap and it's not grime. It's hip-hop. See what you think

Blue: See if there was more music like this coming out from British artists I would be really happy. I guess for now I'm going to have to look up more stuff from this dude.

Little Dragon - Looking Glass

Blue: I think it was about a year ago when I first heard this on track called "infinite love". Thing is this track wasn't on any album it was a promo track for Cartier. So I figured if i can like a commissioned track so much their album stuff must be amazing. My logic was correct. Their previous album was great and now their new Album is equally as amazing. But this track is my favorite. Its the sound of Soul embracing the mechanical coldness of the electronics and making babies.

Dizzee Rascal - Dirtee Cash

Pink: Man, just listen. If you don't like this then click the little red box on your tab and never return

Blue: Hey, you know what? I liked this, so im going to illegally download his album. Then most likely buy this later on. How you feel about that hmmm? Sometimes I wish I could speak like Dizzee, and freak out all my friends.

Nouveau Riche - Win Win Win

Blue: First off, bad news, this band is now defunct. But they released 2 amazing EPs before their demise. Hailing from Philly this funk/hip hop group took many of it's cues from The Roots. The Only difference? Nouveau had Nikki Jean, who is now signed to Columbia Records. Nikki's sultry and playful voice added a certain soul that most funk/hip hop groups didn't have. I discovered this song after Lupe Fiasco had dropped "The Cool" and I gave "hip hop saved my life" a listen, it features her in the chorus. HHSML and Win Win Win both show that Nikki is going to be something fierce and beautiful at the same time.

Pink: Interesting stuff and not what i was expecting to hear. I liked that Lupe track she featured on (and the rest of The Cool) so i'll be checking out these EPs for sure

Basement Jaxx Ft Lightspeed Champion - My Turn

Pink: Taken from the forthcoming album Scars, My Turn is almost a departure for Jaxx. I say almost because while it does sound like Jaxx it also sounds almost like a remix with them putting their trademark huge pop beats over somebody elses song. Despite this it's damn good and i can't stop listening to it

Blue: The dude singing, he used to be in "Test Icicles" right? Cause if I didnt know any better I wouldve thought he was Kele's Older brother. But anywho I woke up this morning really grumpy and sluggish, but once I heard this song this little smirk came over me. I also enjoy this song because its not your typical Jaxx song.

Mr. Hudson - White Lies

Blue: About a year ago nobody here in the states had heard of Mr. Hudson. it wasn't until 808's & Heartbreaks came out that everyone started to wonder who this Mr. Hudson on paranoid was. This UK chap still doesn't have a huge following but with the small sample of "Straight No Chaser", Mr. Hudson's Upcoming Album, he's sure to make his mark. This song is just so powerful and gets me every time I listen to it. I first heard this when he performed it to a small group of people at the Troubadour in Los Angeles and when the bass kicked in, i was blown away. Great song recorded, but even better song live.

Pink: About a year ago nobody had heard of Mr Hudson in the UK. I have a soft spot for his debut and it's not something i like admitting but i do genuinely like the songs i've heard from his sophomore effort, this song is no exception.

Big Pink - Dominos

Blue: C'mon now, with a chorus of "These girls fall like dominos!" How can this song not be good? I was introduced to this band a week ago, and I cant stop listening to this song. It's just great.

Pink: This is the third time i've heard this song now and it's really grown on me. It's just such a massive tune and i can really see it being shouted along to in pubs and bedrooms alike

Skepta Ft Jay Sean - Lush

Pink: Here is a good example of the americanisation of grime. it still slams though so who the fuck cares?!

Blue: Ahhh fuck now that chorus is gonna be stuck in my head all day "im not in a rush rush.." Great tune, and I can hear how its Americanized. I remember you sent me some Skepta songs before and I wasnt feeling them all that much, and I feel awful now that I like this kinda toned down version of grime.

Kevin Cossom Ft. Drake - I Get Paper

Blue: I dont think i can hate any song that has that little Suzanne Vega medley. The Drake verse is dope, but when isn't it? Im gonna keep eye on this young cat.

Pink: Polow beat right? the synths sounded a bit cheap to me but i liked the song anyway. i'm really digging Drake atm and this guy is promising too. I'd like to hear him over a Swizz or Kanye track

Blue: Actually the track is done by Toronto producer Boi 1da, whos been working with G-Unit and Luda. He Recently did that track "Forever" with Drake, Weezy, Yeezy, And Em. Kid Has promise tho right?

Pink: Ahh well that explains it, I didn't like that beat either.

Bue: He Did "Best I Ever Had" and he's working with Dre on Detox.

Pink: Well now i don't know what to think. The "Best I Ever Had" beat was sicc

Sugababes - Gotta Be You

Pink: Little known track from '05 by everyones favorite panda-lookin' pop maestro The-Dream. Who'd have thought a Sugababes album track would be worth a damn?

Blue: How long do you think before The Dream fades out? I give him 1 more year. The production on this track is amazing, but these Sugababes don't do it for me. Im used to that DC type stuff.

Pink: Well he says his next album, Love King, will be his last but i think we'll be hearing The-Dream/Tricky beats and hooks for quite a while. I'm also not much of a Sugababes fan bar the odd single

Air - Sing Sang Sung

Blue: I remember the first time I heard air was with "Cherry Blossom Girl". I was seduced by their soft and simple tunes so much that I wanted to have sex with these songs. Now with this song, I wanna play handball with them.

Pink: It sounds like some twee-ass shit to me. Pleasant enough though
